Never sure that one needs to write a summary so that people can enjoy a poem?

Ha ha! I wonder how long it takes my "old" fans to realise I have actually published something new?

2 poems in one month? What is Anna's world coming to?

On a Sunday

Take me to a bustling market

where buskers hustle

their music, alternately cheerful and soulful

lifts and wafts above

the human barter and chatter

a light melodious blanket

drifting underneath

food aromas spicy and sweet

a luscious colour palette

of fresh vegetables and fruits

nuts and sugary treats

sour dough breads, home-made berry jams

a Sunday concentration of life

the weird, the wild and the wonderful

anything goes/all are accepted

even sheer junk seems enticing

and the intensity of taste

in an ordinary cup of coffee is triple-fold

I reckon I’ll stay a while
