It's a poem about being frustrated with life but there's candy and neverland references and it makes me happy when people read my stuff because I'm self centered and yeah. Read it.

Raindrops fall and crystallize in the air.

Rock candy shimmers, dangling there.

For me to pluck, should I dear?

Will it make me grow taller by the quayside here?

A boat in the harbor of high fructose corn syrup

Tied in mint floss to routine getting up

Out of bed to floss between bad dreams

About tripping on the balance beam.

Falling off and drowning in the present,

All while anticipating being a peasant.

Expectations of the nouveau riche

Scare me more than undercooked quiche.

A bumblebee searching for honey,

Frustrated, only sees talk of jobs and money.

That boat will sail me to world minted in youth

Through laffy taffy clouds and not a single cavity in my tooth.

Sail to the neverland with ease

Where giggles of you float on the breeze

That turns the pages of an old textbook

A few years younger every time you’re forced to look.

Pixy stick clouds on the too sweet air

Fogging up the coffee swamps feeding

Adrenaline lake, they reflect the bright sunny glare

Of post crash eyes in the morning proceeding.
