‘The Eyebiters Son’
Billy Winter thought his life couldn’t get much worse, a house and homework covered in cat hair, his parents covered in cat hair, even his toothbrush is covered in cat hair!! On top of this he has own lank hair and gangly body to contend with.
That, however, turns out to be the least of his worries. on the eve of his thirteenth birthday, whilst walking through a Churchyard, following a row with his parents, He encounters a strange being in the snow who informs him that he is in fact, a changeling and that he has to return to the world he originated from in order to rescue the human boy that he was ‘changed’ with as a baby.
He shares his unbelievable news with his two best friends a brother and sister called Stan and Kezia who accompany him on his adventure along with Henley, an aristocratic Vampire, who is afraid of spiders and of being out of fashion. Llewellyn an eight foot Pooka and Gubbins O’Stuph a Dullahan with a horse called Charon.
‘The Eyebiters Son’ or ‘Billy Winter and the Changeling’ is an action packed, fun filled adventure story. Some parts are very serious (but not too many) some parts are very, very scary but not so scary that you have to read it behind the sofa. Each chapter is designed to make the reader want to reach for the next in cliff hanging suspense.
The Book is aimed at the young teenage market but should also appeal to a younger audience and maybe even an older one. It is intended to be the first in a four part series that will take the characters through some hair rising escapades (including puberty and young adulthood)
