A poem I made up in my environmental science class one day. Based on Langston Hughes' poem Mother to Son. (Just to add, this poem is purely fictional and has no truth behind it).

Teacher to Student
We met in biology,
He took me in chemistry,
Physics was involved there too,
In that classroom he used to woo.

Back and forth we’d both pretend,
To be nothing more than a casual friend,
But the truth my friend you see...
Truly lies in anatomy.

A teacher he...
A student me...
But love, like justice, is blind,
And I believe you’ll find

This love to be simply
‘Class’ic.
