Remember when you thought boys were gross?
Now they orbit your mind

Remember when grades didn’t matter?
Now they’re more important than ever

Remember when your mom chose your clothes?
Now you spend 20 minutes looking for a certain pair of jeans

Remember when you didn’t have to worry about “fitting in”?
Now it’s your main goal in life

Remember when you didn’t know about sex?
Now a day doesn’t go by without a dirty joke swimming in your brain

Remember when you got straight A’s?
Now you’re lucky to get a B-

Remember when you didn’t care about looks?
Now you spend at least an hour on hair and make-up

Remember when bullying meant being called a crappy insult name?
Now it involves swears and violence

Remember when you missed a homework assignment, it barely affected your grade?
Now if you miss an assignment, it fucks your grade up forever

Remember when you could just do whatever all day?
Now you have homework and drama and barely a second to breathe

Remember when all you wanted was to grow up?
Now all you want is to go back
