Unemployment spells out another day

Can't get the rent payments to go away

Eating noodles from a paper cup

On the couch and out of luck

Looks like any other summers day

Except the cold outside would freeze your Face

My cigarette smoke and your cigarette smoke

We watch Judge Judy and laugh and joke

Wondering what makes that noise upstairs

I keep a Jar of coppers and refund bus fares

Clothes are itching something died in the kitchen sink

If mam could see me now what would she think

I bought coffee so you can pay for the milk and bread

Or you can buy some garage wine for us tonight instead

We won't work in shops cause our pride's to high

We dream that our art will one day get us by.
