When happiness does join in

I am no longer me, I become myself

Once more like I used to

To dance and to sing

I love the feeling

With friends and fabulous strangers

I have joy again

In my heart I feel warmth deep within

I feel love for myself

And for everyone else

And then

Leaping across memories

Through shallow emotions

I had just a moment ago

Like a thousand tears of grief

Only poison

The helpless passion consumes me

Once more and I break in half like ice

Shattering and screaming inside

For fear of implosion

I cry tears of hate

Releasing the pressure

On my withering brain

Old before I’m young

It feels like I’m living something

I am unfamiliar with

Even though I know

It’s the life I’m always going to have
