What do I want?

All I want is to be accepted,

Accepted for what I do,

Accepted for what I believe in,

Accepted for how I express myself.

All I wanted is to be recognized,

Recognized for all I’ve endured,

Recognized for what I’ve worked for,

Recognized for anything I’ve gotten done.

All I want is to be appreciated,

Appreciated for what I do for others,

Appreciated for the trials I’ve endured,

Appreciated just as much any other hard-working person.

All I want is to be wanted,

Wanted for help for a special project,

Wanted at a group of social activities,

Wanted just as part of the world that we live in.

That is all that I want.
