This a poem describing how strong a connection can be, but also how it can break over time. I hope you all enjoy, and as always feel free to leave your thoughts.

In The beginning

I delve deep within her, she delves deeper in me.

Making love to my soul forever more, endlessly.

Penetrating her thoughts making love to her mind,

Giving birth to true love as it grows over time.

I hear love is blind, that’s deception by ear,

Though my eyes never lie, because I see you so clear.

She mirrors my heart, reflection of soul,

In a hidden book of love, with stories yet to be told.

Time passes

Sometimes, I wish I had the hands of time,

Instead of these human hands of mine.

So I can rewind and relive the days,

That I relish upon your gaze.

Or felt the warm charming rays of her ever amber ways.

Sometimes I wish my present was my past,

But good times never last.

So I'm dead in today, still living for the yester,

Days that we spent when we were together.
