reflecting pools of calm
that disguise the turbulence
are easy to convince upon your surroundings.
most looks and inquiries are only concerned with the surface
rather than the need to really look inside.
i wonder what it must be like to sit upon a moment
without the urge to split myself in two
over the complete insanity that is washing over me.
i am trying to remember what before felt like.
i am trying to bring back from time the me before this.
but it is to no avail.
as i cannot turn back my heart from what it knows now.
nor can i con my head into being someone's elses spiral.
i must live the best i know with what i am cursed and blessed to bear.
i wish love did not pierce to the core.
