my soul takes flight on beginnings
mesmerised by the possibilities to unfold
awake in the stupor of unreasoning
penetrating hollowness
free in the perfect stillness
of all that wells up as willfull surrender.
i capture a rainbow of wonder
i rely on my senses to convey my awe
to convey the single minded purpose and vision
that move me, drive me to the insanity of seeing
the extent of my bewilderment.
i breathe in peace, a warm glow at the centre of my chest
as it radiates over me, signalling an idyllic sunrise and a sunset in the moment.
i open my eyes and look up to the heavens and mouth my gratitude
for another day, to be in the agony and mystery of bliss.
