THE VERY BEST OF EVERYTHING

My Mother

According to the many standards of this world

Was deemed to be poor

She had no abundance of anything

That pertained to the so called good life

That material things so highly represents

But my Mother

From the abundance of the riches she possessed

Which dwelled deep within her heart and her soul

Was more than able to give of herself unto me

The very best of everything
