As always a pen to paper lonely moment when sleep eludes me.

Serenity Sought

Random thoughts of mine,

from past and present times,

seek now I hope you find,

a resting place that's not my mind.

Pen to paper ease my thoughts,

let troubled words now be caught,

peace of mind and serenity sought,

the things in life that can't be bought.

Rest that pretty head,

lay thoughts onto the bed,

then tomorrows problems can be said,

until that time sleep like dead.

Wishful thinking I have incurred

sleepless nights I will endure,

dreams of nightmares and all that's feared,

restless I am and full of tears.

Random thoughts of mine,

if it's sleep you will not let me find,

then what I seek is some sort of sign,

Possibly in the form of a shot with lime.
