This is a poem I wrote about being lied to by someone who you thought you knew.

The visions of your lies becoming clear

Your deception I hear

For what I fear

Is drawing near

Your lies speaking loudly now

What I thought was real,

Was only a reproduction

Of the truth you try to conceal.

Out of everything that has been said

The wrong path, I have been led

I feel as though you have bit the hand,

Of which you are fed

Have it your way

But by the end of the day,

You’ll have nothing to help

Keep the pain away.
