I am insane.
Do not try to reason with me, as you will end up failing and your efforts might lead to my premature death, an event I am sure will cause many unnecessary heartache and despair. Also, my level of insanity forbids any acceptance of advice from any/all well meaning busy bodies. A trait of which I am unsure can truly be dubbed "insanity" for it holds many characteristics of sanity, and the best of kinds at that.
Which personage would not show mental growth in both information and confidence if, for once, they took to heart their own advice? Advice givers certainly mean no harm - physically nor mentally. Truly they mean only the best. Yet, people seek and receive advice when they find themselves in a tricky situation. It is generally a problem both vexing and trying, challenging and frustrating. However would that situation have arisen in their lives if they were not meant to learn something from it? No, indeedly. Which ought to obviously show that each trail a human faces is uniquely shaped in order to suit them personally, perhaps a test of their abilities and capacities. on that note, it might be then pointed out that advice must be taken carefully, with small dosages, as it is not something I am sure the "Higher Powers" meant for us humans to corporate into our lives.
We know not the problems our neighbor faces. Why act as though we do? We merely carry the weight and experience of our own soul tests, along with the knowledge we gained from the adventures. Why, as homo sapien sapiens, do we succumb to the temptation to unburden ourselves of our newly gained knowledge from a mistake, the lesson learned, as quickly as we ourselves gain it? Is it all part of our strive to be the fastest, strongest, smartest race, so we feel our own personal thoughts must be quickly and readily "passed on" or "shared" aka: disposed of, right on top of some unsuspecting person's head? Only for their betterment, of course. Never for the internal satisfaction, or that fleeting sense of superiority one feels when sharing thoughts and feelings have only you ever stumbled across. Advice, I earnestly implore you to realize, is nothing but a set of generalizations; A jumble of words from one trainee to the next.
No soul truly understands the problems of the next...show me a person that can honestly walk in some one's shoes and let's make him or her millionaire therapist. Too bad this person does not exist.
So I might be insane for neither taking nor giving advice but I also might have reached a higher level of understanding. Or maybe negative?
Alas, who knows? Not I ...not I. But remember, I am insane. My title has freed me from any confined thinking. I am not bound by the average laws of society. The laws, anyway, who deal with standards and stereotypes. I am a free, free bird.
Society has branded me insane, and freed me in the same breath.
Join me; the possibilities for insanity are endless.
