Words written still
Upon my lusty chest.
Hidden 'neath the frozen will
Forgotten, frozen lest
They seem to you to be
Like plastic-painted grass-
Tarnished, spotted, rusty,
Syllables, thick-so crass.
But ne'r was a ring so true,
Far truer than a bell,
Than audor thats far-past due,
With love I've known so well.

It is the enssence of
The horizon bathed in light,
Tranquil as a dove-
The vanilla-coated night.

Two hearts beat asunder.
Yet my heart is joined with yours.
Beating, bleeding thunder-
The sparks and billow pours.
Your heart-my other half,
The edges thick and torn
Without my cause to smile or laugh
The beating slows, forlorn...

Please wait for me, my dear
Upon that heaven last
Where in your arms, so near,
Pain and tears are past-
For dreams are n'er so perfect
As dreams I live with you.

Yet, this poem-so lone and wrecked-
Means three words so true..
My beautiful, my love, my one-
I love you.
