The Goblin’s Cry
They walk down the road silently,
In breeze of fine lights,
And round it comes swiftly,
A Goblin cunning and sly!
He cries out a loud cry,
Overcome with mutinous grief,
All they did is sigh,
When a handsome prince come pry.
Goblin was thus helped by him,
Being carried on prince’s shoulder,
They went away in Goblin’s pointed direction,
With no air of desired caution.
And off they went ahead,
And the rumor did spread,
Of the foolishness of their prince,
Who fell in trap of a goblin!
After a while came the awaited cry,
Of pain, treachery and death,
Ran grief-stricken princess towards it,
Everyone cried; goblin’s deed hence done!
