The Languid Shades

inspired by

(An art by my best friend)

Praise the lord, you lovingly speak,

Does he allow your sins?

My green you slay,

My eyes bloodied,

How can you claim being clean?

I give you shade and happiness,

I provide your glasses of gin,

You wound my child,

You killed my kids,

How can you claim being clean?

My bloodied eyes do water,

The crimson just don’t touch my skin,

You hurt my soul,

You misuse my kindness,

How can you claim being clean?

My soul now wanders around,

In your caves, your dirty inns,

You killed my calmness,

You are now getting haunted,

How ignorant of you to claim being so clean!
