A sorrow.

A painful sorrow I wish would end.

I hope for happiness around the bend.

I see no point to why I try.

Even as I write this I lie down and cry.

I thought I was better with your help alone

But then my heart turned back to stone.

I used to smile.

I used to try.

But now my strength is gone and i'm left to die.

You've left me here,

Silent and alone

And say I have an impact of my own.

I don't see it.

I don't believe it's there.

Because no one I know would ever care.

So now I sit here in my sorrow,

Hoping for a new light to shine tomorrow.
