Where have my dreams gone?

The imaginary worlds,

The kaleidoscope of faces,

Heroes and villains,

Fairies and witches.

Where is the music?

The magic and laughter,

The joy and the hope.

All have disappeared,

Into darkness, nothingness.

Only nightmares now,

Terror, burning yet chilling,

The monsters of my future,

Ghosts of my past.

So now, Sleep doesn’t come,

Restlessness, anxiety,

Voices in the dark,

Worries in my head,

Sickness and exhaustion,

But still no rest, no sleep,

Only never-ending agony,

And eternal, lonely nights.
