A poem I posted on another account, but I can't remember the password, so I wanted to make a new one. Here goes!

The Whispering Wood.

Through the sprawling forest,

On tiny, spritly feet,

Far from towns or cities,

No roads, or parks or streets.

Ye children leap through branches,

In the Whispering Wood,

Ye should not have come this far,

Wind back time if Ye could.

The creature is near,

Oh-so near,

He hungers for flesh,

And can almost taste the fear.

Ye hear him a-running,

Ye too must run, run away!

Ye should not hae come here,

Not ever, not today!

Ye reach your sombre village,

Panicking, out of breath,

The thing is worse than ever,

Worse than any Ye have met.

Alas, it is not over,

Ye scream as he comes near,

He nearly tastes your flesh,

And can certainly taste the fear.

Through the sprawling forest,

No tiny spritly feet,

Far from towns and cities,

No roads, no parks or streets.

The creature is contented,

And is not far from sleep,

If ever in the forest,

Please watch out for this creep.

In the Whispering Wood,

Wind back time if Thee could.
