A sonnet I wrote in my Creative Writing class after I wrote my first one (teacher still grading that one, so I won't be able to put it up for a while). Some of the stressed and unstressed might not go very well..buttt.. here it goes anyway.
[[This sonnet isn't as good as my one I turned in]]

I have tried everywhere, but had no luck
Nothing they say seems real enough to me,
I ran from the church, a book makes me duck,
The priest yelled loudly, "Believe it, don't see".

On my own again, I walk down the street,
A bell sounds, making me turn in wonder.
In the small coffee shop, a man I meet.
I guess I will try to find another.

No faith, I see, is needed when we talk,
I feel embarassed as we tell our day,
But it's better when we go for a walk,
At the end we part, and I try to say:

This was nice, I had a really good time,
But he said, I hope your day goes by fine.
