There she is standing tall
You say she’s ready to fall
The way she waivers in the wind
When she tunes out the din
The way she laughs at it all
You still say she’s ready to fall?
Why do you look down at her?
Is she not enough!
The way she holds her head up high
As the world laughs and sighs
The way she nods her head in recognition
When she passes us in forced exhibition
She holds her head up high
Looking at the sky
She murmurs,
“I’m ready to fall.”
