One of the longer poems I've so far written it is a little unwieldy particularly towards the end but overall I like the ideas in it. Let me know what you think :)

Faded blacks gone to brown

Friar's Son gone to town

Liars glance

Hazey eyes

Seeking Friar's Son to spin their lies

Broken now

Despondent far from home

Friar's Son now all alone

Lessons learned hardly gotten

Lessons learned not soon forgotten

Friar's Son now gone to find

All those whom he left behind

Travels steep

Travels deep

Friar's Son yearning seeks

Friar waits at the gate

Sees his son on the track

Knows now he can't go back

Sheds a tear for innocence broken

Says with regret softly spoken

"All thing change all  things fade

All things slowly sink to shade

Now my son you have forever changed

Just like faded blacks gone to brown."
