This is one of the first poems I ever completed. It was inspired by a poem I read by Robert Louis Stevenson. I'm still rather fond of it, I think I like the almost chant like quality of it. Also ignore the small poem bit of the title I had to put something there so I could publish it.

Lay me down my brothers

Lay me down here amongst the heath

Lay me down my brothers

Lay me down in my eternal sleep

Lay me down my brothers

Lay me down but do not weep

Lay me down my brothers

For now I have found the peace

For which I did seek.
