Remembering her by a single song she sang before me. I never even heard it. It pains me every time the sweet melody comes on the radio, or someone else humms the tune. Making me jealous in a way I cannot describe. She hurt me in so many ways undescribable, a heart so broken left shattered on the floor. The only glue remained a song sang in tune of D. Scary, how such a shamble of notes can bring back so many memories of things lost and loved. It was most of all scary learning what I learned about her. Not only was the song she sang delicate, it spoke the truth of things unknown to me. Revealing not only the truth but who she really was. It was no longer then that I loved her, I was infatuated. She was a mysterious fresh blow of wind in the summers day, people ponder why she is there. But she helps cope with the heat of the season. She stayed for short, sweet moments. I savoured all I could. Taking in all I could manage around her. Her essence left a strange aura within me, pulsating through my blood. It was only then, I knew. The song she sang was an insight into her soul. Darkened my mistery, tainted by melody. She left after I figured her out. A summer breeze. You might be gone. But i'm here. Singing your song with you.
