LIFECYCLE.

A tone of truth is heard;shrill and pure in its form;

it was declared, that a life had come fast

to this blue planet; waiting to meet its destiny.

Cries the voice, witnessing freedom, at last;

Many a sigh, quite a few apathy, but one's revelry.

The rumbustious soul lay unconscious, and exhausted.

Ascends into numbers--that we name age--the child;

Colourful, playful and radiant, her youth was.

Glorious, delightful, awesome the words used - puberty!

A woman now, no more a child; blush, joy and love.

Years rolled by, and time had come;her marriage arrived.

Alas! Her hopes of lovely life went down the drain, forshe

was nothing but a pay-less servant; toiled she, with patience her virtue.

A year gone, a visible bulge marked her joy; though painful, joy outshined it.

And finally, the tone was heard again.
