I see your dark shadow in the night
your wings are folded to the sides.

Silently you move between the lines
of light which Bella Luna strikes.

Secretly you fight the urge
to step out of the shadow
and dance in the glow
of moonlight resting on the streets

Slowly you see your chance.
All is quiet, all is at peace
Take your steps with ease,
you never know what's hiding above.

Softly your soft silk lash in the light,
soundless and with no further prof
you move invisible from roof to roof.

No one has seen, no one has heard
these merciless movements that occured.

You open your wings,
ready to fly.
Sending your prayers
to the heavens above.

Never again,
darkness will bind.
Never again,
shall light be declined.
