Disclaimer: Don’t Try This at Home

Submersion in iron cages,
Surrounded by toothy grins
Kissing cobras and death defying feats
Your life line’s been pulled thin

Leaping through circles of fire
On naught but two wheels of fate
Laughing in the face of the reaper
Death you oblige to wait

On a line across the sky you walk
Miles high above the streets
Where balance plays a crucial role
Or your face the ground shall greet

Between the jaws of an ancient reptile
Your head you lay within
The centuries old Nile guard
Would be delighted to do you in

But when your luck runs out
And fortune’s no longer in your favor
Be careful on whether life or death
You’ve happened to place your wager
