Can’t you hear me screaming?

Yelling cos I’m blind?

Can’t you see me burning?

Burning up inside?

Do you hear the voices?!

The voices in my head?!

They tell me that I’m special,

And promise something new!

Nothing else can save me,

Save me but for you!

Can’t you hear me crying?

Thrashing against my binds?

Can you hear my murmurs,

In the dead of the night?

Can you see the blackness,

I see instead of sight?

I scream so loud,

But none can hear,

They’re deaf like I am blind.

There’s only one thing to realise,

One thing left to find.

Release, escape, eternity,

Freedom from this frailty,

A broken heart, a broken soul,

A mind that’s near to torn apart,

Help me piece it back together,

Let my mind reside forever,

In peace.
