Just a little poem that came to me.

I must declare, in the simplest of ways,

I will remember for the rest of my days

Your laugh, your scent, your face, your smile

For you I could, and would, run a mile.

I realise now that it was a mistake

To let you go and simply take

And not to give you all I could

And not to love you the way I should.

You bring out a smile on the darkest of days

Your smile was brighter than the sun’s rays,

Now you’re gone, you’re no longer around

I’m all alone and don’t hear the sound

Of both your laugh and your voice

But of course, your departure, wasn’t your choice

.

thats a great poem. I think it would be good to have it laid out differently as this format doesn't do it justice.meaningful poem though

It was supposed to be in a different layout, but I'm fairly useless with computers.

Really good. I liked your style of rhyming. IT seems like the last line means something to you. Because I feel like I'm missing something. But that is what makes it mysterious. Good job.

Thank you :) the last line symbolises to me, about the loss of a loved one, but it can be mean different things to different people. :)
