Yeah, this is the first poem of mine that's on this site. I hope y'all like it, not really much to tell about it. I guess you could figure out what I was meaning. Normally, I don't rhyme, but that was my assignment. Enjoy!

God, but you are beautiful
who should know better than I?
if others don't believe than
let them look another time

long-spangled eyes that flash
of Atlantic blue in winter
just-so-soft dusty sunbeam hair
that makes my fingers linger

but most of all, my only
I crave your salty skin
your thick decadent skin
that only just holds your fire in

the way it tastes behind your ear
how it warms around my touch
satin lines your fingertips
and your lips- round and blush

yes, you are gorgeous
mostly, because you are mine
and you are what I reach for
when I dream reality behind
