The quiet girl in the corner

Forgotten by her peers

The poor lost cause

Wipes away her tears

She goes home to an empty house

and shuts her bedroom door

under her pillow she finds a knife so sharp

and lays on the cold wooden floor

No one she has

And in her pit of despair

She grabs a knife

and throws it in the air

she holds her breath

she holds on tight

there is no more quiet girl

there is no more light
