The Dragon Song

The dragons sing the magical tune
The notes can make the blossom bloom
Or lead the Earth to its doom.

They flick their tongues to the beat
And tappety tap, they dance on their feet
They swish their necks to the song
They bang their tails against the gong
They blow their elements down a flute
They sing until they are utterly mute.

The red dragon, his voice never fails to amaze
He makes the raging bonfire blaze.
The blue dragon, his voice is smooth and slow
He makes the winding river flow.
The green dragon, his voice a soothing sound
He makes the plants rise up from the ground.
The yellow dragon, his voice has not one fault
He strikes the ground with a lightning bolt.
The purple dragon, his voice full of emotion
His claws close round his bottle of potion.
The white dragon, his voice pierces the night
He turns the lake into a sheet of ice.
Finally, the black dragon, completing the tune
He sings in the shadows, the shadows of the moon.

The dragons are powerful, vicious and strong
But that all changes when they sing their song.
