A poem of love and aches

Flowers wilt and wither in time

Desserts become no more dry

The wounds in my heart caused by

Memories that I should left behind

I should now learn how to live without you

When no one's there like the life you do

I know I cannot make this right

But my love for you cannot be fight

You are still in this soulful heart

It will never ever be apart

Loving another will not cause it to broken

Instead keeps me remember what you have sayin'

Loving you is a sweet surrender and a painful wander

It hurts me when I try to leave you 'coz this twinge will be tender

And this love would never be right though time cannot make it just

I should leave this behind that will wither in time

Mistress of Word Play

Lovely so very sweet. Other than some spelling errors a worthwhile poem. I enjoy love poems very much and this was very good.

Memories that I should left behind---Should have left ot just plainly I should leave.
But my love for you cannot be fight---unsure about the word fight in the end, I get it but it doesn't really fit grammatically, maybe 'Stopped' would do.

Still check some other lines...
but the poem is very nice and quite sad--like mine.
read my poem.
It's also about losing something you really love or want. thanks!
