We can always make the world a better place, if we just take the time to, I just hope we never forget that, myself included.

We live in a world between white and black,

Overrun with colors and glitter that only serve to distract,

But there is so much more to see,

No say this can't only be me?

Hearing the needless cries,

Seeing the endless pain,

With no one but ourselves to blame.

This is nothing we can ignore.

Have we forgotten what’s worth fighting for?

Say this isn’t heaven.

A/N:these are actually some lyrics i've been working on but i thought they looked good as a poem,

any ideas on how to make them better are appreciated, i think they are pretty preachy, i don't know if thats a good or bad thing.
