Those Eyes

Those eyes

Those eyes like ice

They never melt

They get colder

Than the glaciers at the poles

Than the great planets of our solar system

Those eyes

Those eyes like fire

They never burn out

They get hotter

Than a strike of lightning

Than the core of the sun

Those eyes

Those eyes like jewels

They are greener than jade

They are greener than emerald, greener

Than a sunny forest, greener

Than everything

Those eyes

They swallow me whole, more whole

Than the entire universe

Where others see blue, brown, and green,

I see much more

I see everything
