My flesh froze at your caress
The cold wind tracing my skin
I had given it my very best
Before I just gave in

I know you knew and so did I
I'd stopped you in your tracks
The emptiness inside my eyes;
The ceiling to your back

I broke you out of your hunger spell
You'd realized what you'd done
You put me through a twisted Hell Shot through me like a gun

I loathe you for this, really
You have turned me into dust
To think of when you hit me
With such rage infected lust

I never thought this could be
Particularly not from you
You tore away my security
You know damn well that it's true

You say: "It wasn't like that"
That I should let it go
You try and keep me quiet
So no one else will know

Yet I still stand here with you
After all that has been done
You knew because I loved you,
That I could never run

All that's left is emptiness
And scribblings here and there
Tossing, turning; restlessness...
An everyday nightmare.
