Love's Resting Place

Do you remember the days when love swelled the room so fully

And quiet mindful serenity laid warmly side by side?

It seemed as if love had no perception of time.

Love had no beginning, nor an ending time;

I could never recall the exact moment I began to love your inner scars completely

And never did I see the unlikeliness of us.

I believe Love knew she would never stay with two persons so individualized such as us,

But she knew her company was needed
