This is another poem related to my siblings, my mother, and my step father. This is the way I began to feel after years and years of this abuse and neglect.

I feel trapped beneath my skin;

I take another swig hoping to ease the pain from within;

Although my scars are not visable, I'm still wounded;

Another hit, because I will always be excluded.

You can tell me that you understand, but I've heard it all before;

You said the pain would all wash away, you even swore;

But sitting here today, I think you might be wrong;

Sitting here today I feel that I will never really belong.

I want to escape the nightmares, escape the memories;

It was only us, only they have seen my misereies;

Only they saw my life go up in smoke;

I will always stand broken.

I have lost a lot in this short lived life;

But I will soon regain them again in my afterlife;

I have cried many tears;

There was no "god" to take away my long lived fears.

I feel trapped beneath my skin;

I take another swig hoping to ease the pain from within;

Although my scars are not visable, I'm still wounded;

Another hit, because I will always be excluded.
