Summary

I wanted to write something emotional and sort of on the line of Romeo and Juliet. The death of two young lover's.

One taken by death and the other not wishing to go on without her.

Oh morbid Death; no mercy whom you take;

callus your nature; fingers cold; none forsake.

Silently you approach; waiting beating hearts to still.

warm bodies of hope and life;succumb to cruel will.

~~~~~~
You’ve taken her; what beast does this thing?
In blackness robed; vile thief of night are thee
you took her breath with sickle’s deadly swing.
I held her in my arms; you stole her yet from me;
~~~~~~

Her lips are cold; eyes clouded, I curse your name;

Take me instead I implore you; why for her you came?

Gentle beauty was she and fair; half that made me whole;

What use have I of life continued; bereft of her sweet soul?

~~~~~~
What harm did she do you; to take her in life’s prime?
While others you walk past; giving them more time.
Oh wake my sleeping love; cast off murderous kiss;
Let not him take you from me; beg you give this bliss.
~~~~~~

Foul Death; so contemptuous, a villain without face;

Why take her life this day; depriving world her grace?

Stop my heart beating; take me, oh hear my plea.

Without her I am already dead; soul within does flee.

~~~~~~
On this night, I will wait by cliff that overlooks the sea;
Meet me there Reaper; take me to my lovely Anna Lea.
Do not make me linger; but make haste let me drown;
I will rejoice at sickle’s strike; my empty heart lay down.
