Blessed is my spirit as sun shines bright;

spring comes calling to make things right.

Winter’s cloak shed at last; snow is melt;

no longer cold winds blow; nor bitter felt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gray skies replaced with brilliant blue;
upon budding grass this morn is dew.
Trees rejoice; their leaves soon unfold;
warmed by the sun; released from cold.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Geese squawk loudly and Robins sing;

heartfelt joy their lovely sounds to bring.

Awake at last is hope divine; bathed in sun;

flowers break the soil, their graves to shun.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rivers flow again; with their currents strong;
streams allowed again to sing babbling song.
Like nature around me; I too begin to flourish;
delighted springs returned; my soul to nourish.
