Have you ever noticed that when the man of the house gets a cold; it is so much worse than "Just a cold?" They revert to childhood and want to be pitied and pampered like mommy used to do when they were sick.

* Disclaimer: I know I will get some criticism for this one; but hey, sometimes the truth is hard to hear guys.

To have a cold is quite outrageous;

It’s so sniffly, sneezy and contagious.

Cough and wheeze; stuffed up tight;

Toss and turn though out the night.

Throat is scratchy; hurts to swallow;

Aches and pains are sure to follow.

Doctors say there is no cure;

Its course to run that is for sure.

Grab a tissue, blow my red nose;

Drink lots of liquids; that’s how it goes.

Feeling awful; can hardly breathe;

Wish this nasty cold would leave!

Cough; sneeze, wheeze and blow;

I’m way sicker than you could know!

The wife says I am a great big whiner;

“A cold’s a cold; just something minor.”

But she’s not sick; she doesn’t know;

I’m on deaths bed; and soon I’ll go!

No sympathy from her at all I get;

When I’m gone she’ll soon regret.

Cough, sneeze, wheeze and blow;

I’m much sicker than she could know!
