She came to me like a rising plague…

pulling me toward the precipice,

pushing me over the edge...

Tainting my desperate soul, destroying my fragile life,

she poisoned the well...

In the end, I lost my dearest wife…

Her soul so black, so very cold...

I was blinded by her beauty…

She was truly a sight to behold…

The plague crept deeper within my being,

I was blinded by lust, this kept me from seeing…

Her evil ways, her distorted gaze…

She, through my life in a hopeless maze…

Through it all, I’ve learned a lot, who to trust…

And who to not…

It started when I opened my heart, and let her in…

She saw an opening, and was quick to the mark…

Like a school boy, I was pulled in, by her smile, charm,

and plastic grin…

Oh, how she flattered me to no end...

I was heedlessly caught…

In her webs of sinister thought…
