It is the Fourth Age, also known as the Age of Man. The old Magic of the world is gone, replaced by man's inhumanity to man. On the continent of the South, war brews and armies prepare to march as the followers of The Red God muster it's forces in preparation of Conquest, and the forced conversion of those they conquer to their religion.

Standing in their way are the nations of Stovgard to the far Northern Kingdoms, and Arater to the Western plains. In between these warring nations stand two countries; Avalon to the South of Stovgard, and Oralei in the farthest South who wish to stay neutral.

However decisions must be made; alliances formed, and choices that could alter the very landscape of the Southern lands forever. As war wages, a long lost Magic awakens under the very ground the armies march upon.

A Northern Warrior is dispatched to protect a young Princess from harm, but his mission will take him and others across the very continent, to their very limits of protecting the Heir to the South.

This long and thought forgotten magic will soon thrive once more, but is it a force for good or for evil?
