A A A

Like the sound of flowing water,
Or the first rays of the sun,
I will love you my dear,
Till the sands of time shall run,

A pregnant silence has eluded us,
The love is there no more,
A sullen silence thus,
Is all there is left now,

A few strands of hair they,
Hide your smiling face,
I turn around and look at you,
Mesmerized, in a state of daze,

Your silver-golden eyes,
Glisten like pearls,
Like mirrors do they reflect,
My undenying love for you,

I also see a feeling cold,
Too many mysterious takes untold,
The strands of hair still hide your face,
But the smile is there no more
...
