They put me down on the table
The lady in the white coat looks at me
She examines my paws, and looks through my fur
I do not like her very much
I'd much rather be with my girl
She's standing behind the lady
I want her to take me away
The scary lady asks if she wants a moment alone
She picks me up
I lick her face
Is it because I bit her last night?
I'm very sorry
I lick her again
"I love you" She says between sobs
She keeps crying and holds me tight, petting me
"I'm so sorry"
I wonder what for
The lady comes back
I don't want her to touch me again
She puts me back on the table
She goes to her desk and picks up something
It's one of those
Last time I saw one of those, she put it in me
And it hurt
She holds me down, and I look to my girl
She's crying again
Then the sharp pain comes
But it doesn't last too long
I look back at my girl
She's crying even harder
But everything is warm
And I am tired now
So I lie down
