In Case of Fire

Poem by: Ayla Daniels

Summary

This is a found poem.. so I pretty much just looked for random sentences and put them in a poem with a few modifications :) It was a lot of fun to do, and my favourite part is that it has an unlimited amount of ways it can be interpreted. Hope you enjoy.

I heard an explosion

So in case of fire,

Great we are today

Getting past the pain

So some will have better days

I will not encourage others to fly

In case of fire

But I will say

When life gives you lemons,

Throw them at someone you hate

Years ago, all was covered in snow

In case of fire

Now, I most certainly do have weapons

Miraculous, advantageous or perilous

I am not a terrorist, I am a philanthropist
