I got lost at sea

I fell in the water

I watched the skies fly by me

The embrace of abandonment

If only I could grow wings

But, consumed with my imprisonment,

I was stuck in the disarray

The angels seemed to abhor me

In the cold icy ocean spray

Death kissed my face

And darkness grasped my feet

And when there was no grace,

Hope came

And a life boat sailed

In midst of the shame

It picked me up

And we sailed away
