It all comes back

Like a bad dream

Of all the lack

And unfilled need

Ravenous jealousy

The only kind of poison

You make it seem so easy

The simple life you live in

I wanted it all

I believed it too

But I felt myself fall

As you rose up and flew

Jealousy that beats with a heart

It bursts in demanding

And now that I`ve lost my start

I`m left here wondering

What it would be to be you

To have promise

To be living life, new

Everyone believes in you

Never in me

Yet they say that’s untrue

Why is this how it has to be?

Why do you get all the glory?

For something you don`t even pursue

And I sit here and see

All my dreams go right to you
